ANN DECOR

When you see the finishing product of todays review, you are going to want them! It just so comes that todays post is nce againg about a couple that joined force, married couple with a clear vision and a very green perspective. Couples often strive for a bettr and more friendly environment, they want a more healthy and green solution for their soroundings. Anne and Marius embrased the idea of eco friendly home decorations and they created a greenery of their own, generous enough to share their practial and eco friendly home necessities.

 

It all started in the year 2010, when the couple decided to unite their passion. At first Marius treated carpentry only as a hobby, nothing more. Anne had an experience in running a small art business. At the beginning, in the middle of 2011, their business was based primarily on the performance of various types of small art projects and furniture restoration. Day by day they learned new technologies and solutions, and bought the necessary carpentry and upholstery equipment. So they were able to work on more and more sophisticated ideas. And all in the spirit of eco.

 

Anne was the one with an idea of eco home and philosophy of recycling, and the project: "The Wooden & Recycled home by Ann Decor" was born. They use natural materials, including recycled, they use traditional technologies and ecological preparations such as oils, waxes, polishes.

 

 

At the moment they are working on three lines of furniture.

 

Nature (A line of furniture made completely from recycled wood. Upholstered components are made of natural fabrics - linen and cotton.)

 

 

 

 

Cuboide Line (A series of storage cabinets based on rectangular shape with different compositions of horizontal and vertical shelves. Each piece of furniture can be painted in accordance with the NCS palette of 7,000 colors.)

 

 

 

Loftove (The line created for enthusiasts of interior in industrial design. There is dominated by heavy dimensions on large wheels.)

KINA CERAMIC DESIGN

I was wondering when to start with the whole Christmas - Holiday inspired decorations, well I guess I don´t have to wonder any more, cause the fabulous designer that we il be talking about today, just put out her holiday inspired ornaments. But since it´s still november and we have some time we il check the artist and her work first and you il see her Christmas decor later.

Here it goes: Kina Ceramic Design is a brand that designs  unique ceramic dishes made of high quality porcelain. Unique mugs with surprising handles, decorative bowls painted with real gold, vases in modern shape, plates and even sets. Everything is handmade and inspired by nature.

The artist Kina graduated from Academy of Art and Design in Wroclaw (Poland) as a ceramic designer. Her passion is porcelain but it wasn't always like that. Her earliest childhood memories are about playing with clay. When she was 6 years old, she had her first contact with this material. As a child, she used to spent every summer holiday with her siblings in the beautiful countryside of the lake district Mazury in Poland. She remembers her dad mining clay for them from a small deposit that they had found nearby their cottage. They played for hours creating simple dishes and figurines. Although it was all childish fun, it directed the subsequent course of her life. Soon after, she knew what she wanted to do when grew up. Nowadays, she creates porcelain tableware that are intriguing, elegant and funny.

 

All her work is basicly white with details, but all that is about to change. Cant wait to see her new creation in colors! Another interesting thing is that you can order a customized text in the "Balloon speech Plates" so go crazy with your ideas, cause you can make a wonderful personalized gift for Christmas =)

There is one last thing I need to show you, just amazing!

Set of sculptures inspired by fractals, building constructions, and DNA. Artist wanted to combine in this work technical pecision, sharp and geometrical shape of every single piece that construct those objects with organic shape of its general look, with its floating form.

NEIGHBOURHOOK

Astonishing Neighbourhook is the type of brand where the unique work speaks for it self. You can´t find anything like it in any store, well... I hope you eventually find their work in stors. Anyway the two creators come from Spain (Zaragoza) and they made sure to give you the most interesting and daring designs for your home maybe even your office space. Aim of this team is to create special decoration objects from discarded items, to which they offer a second chance - no matter their backround.

In this ´second life´ some decor has nothing to do with his previous life. Designers behind this are Carlos Maturen & Jorge Beltran, with the help of handiwork reincarnation we are able to see different  lamps; some are also good for photographers and different signs and letters, which I LOVE. You can get many different signs/letters in any colore or shape.

SURREAL : EROTIK

Today´s blog is about a German artist, naturaly skilled and talented with a lot of practice of course and a very open mind. To see what his art is all about you would need to see the sculptures, it took me a few minutes to get the point, at first just seemed i was looking at fruit, later on i found out that i was actualy looking at a very surreale FRUIT.. While nature made sure that some fruits and vegetables are genderless, the one that youre about to see arent. And al thou most of plants are both male and female this ones are a one gender indead. Just so you see what i am talking about check the picture down below...

Pretty hot right? Well when i got the point i caught my self staring at this images, going threw his other work and thinking would i dare to have this in my house? Not because of me but because my familly lives pretty near by and they do visit on and of, plus they wouldnt get the art part they would probably be freaked out on how kinki me and my boyfriend are...i did picture a scenario of my grandmother´s face when seeing a nicely carved cucumber, priceless! It did cross my mind to keep them in the bedroom, but i did found something that would go nicely in my living room without others judging my taste. The other tipe of his work is purely amazing, it reminds me on Venus figurines and they look adorable, i am surely getting one! These are his softer sculptures.

 

 

We saw his Erotic fruits and art now we get to the Fetish part,which is preety hard core and very deep, the details are mind blowing. 

 

 

His art won the titel of The Worlds Greatest Erotic Art, 3 years in a row. We can see that he is multi talented and not afraid to show his true nature. All i have to say about this is, keep up with the good work.

HOLY SHIT

This blog is for a very creative person, Julie Ann and her art. When I first contacted her to do a blog about her greeting cards, I didnt realy do my homework. All I saw were her amazing, fun and realy honest quotes on gift cards, notepads but the item that realy made me wanna do a blog on this was a mint colored pencil saying >WRITE THAT SHIT DOWN<. You cant get more direct than that. That was when I immediately contacted her, knowing literally nothing about her, just saw her work. Later on I saw her page and I read her profile on Etsy, I was getting more and more bumed out. I guess I was a little intimidated because I found out that she is an amazing bloger, realy amazing and is very active and popular. For a day I realy chickened out and I was starting to hesitate. Now I guess everyone has a difficult start and is a little bit afraid especially a total beginner with not so much experience. After the day I ve chickened out I did check her official page again and I started to read her blogs, that was probably the smartest thing to do, it calmed me down immediately. The blog that made me realize how I have put myself on self destruction mode was >LEAVING YOUR COMFORT ZONE<. The theme of the blog is refered to a different subject but the title said it all. That even made me leave my comfort zone in a way.

 

 

I must say that she is a huge inspiration and through her page you can see HER, its clear how she is devoted to what she does and it suits her perfectly. As far as her art goes, its amazing! You cant get any better than that to say your statement and to show your style through your work. I think her work is the S***! It made me laugh and it will make you laugh, this are the most honest quotes you can have on a days such as mothers day, weddings, birthdays and so much more. But if you want a little bit of self motivation and a kick in your behinds just get the pencils, it will make you write that S*** down!

 

 

 

If your sense of humor didnt fail you and you still get a good joke, then you must at least see if not buy a card for just any occasion, you might even get inspired and do your own, but dont get too carried away, the last thing you want is to get toooo direct, if you know what I mean.

 

 

 

 

Why be average if you can have an amazing laugh with your closest friends on your life changing events.

Have you ever tought of leaving your daily job to pursue your passion? The creative mind behind a brand called Rusty Mill did exactly that and the long hours and effort surely paid of. The person behind this beautiful brand is a woman named Heather. Here self-taught hobby which was her passion became a hit and it was only right for her to quit her job and continue to do what makes her happy and us happy. She does not work alone, her husband is also her partner in crime, they work side by side as a team. They continue with other hobbys, Heather runs her photography studio and Brian continues to build bicycles.  

Rusty Mill offers you different frames all are made by hand out of massive wood and are just a very pleasent decoration for your home and your memories. I dont know about you but since we are in the internet era, I do my reserch when ever I am buying something, you would be surprised how many affordable and handmade products you can find on diffeerent sites such as Etsy, DaWanda, ArtFire and others.

Who do you think has better taste in design, women or men? In a way I think women are born with a sense of style and good taste but man arent far behind. I was going through Etsy just to see what they have to offer in terms of wall clocks and pictures. What I found was a chiled girl with lots and lots of ideas and amazing products and a very creative spirit. She uses nice and simple patterns from actual pictures to dots, lines or just anything YOU can come up with.

Going to the most fishy Etsy shop, named Hey fishy you will get anything but fishy. Creative wall clocks will make you wanna re-decorate or at least make you wanna change your boring clock for something a little bit more spice and timeless. You realy cant go wrong with this decor cause it comes in all different colores and patterns and if even thats not enough you can order your own. Just that simple, why not have a clock that will match your home style.
