DIY CUTE MAGNETS

When was it the last time you did something creative? I cant realy remember when was it the last time I did a key chan or a magnet, but I think it was in the begining of my first year of highscool. Decided that i will do some magnets today, its preaty funny when you see how easy and inexpensve they can be done. You can make them in any shape, color or pattern you desire.

Handmade magnets are practical and unique, you can use them yourself or you can give them away like gifts for birthdays or anniversaries, weddings,....

If you decide to make them, here is what you need:

*das masa (dryes on air) or fimo masa (dryed on air or in owen, you choose);(price 3,5€)
*magnets (exp: 12 rounded magnets cost 2,3€)
*any pattern or model for cookies, depending on what you want to do
*sth to cut
**colors (you can use any color even a nail polish), glitters are optional

With this material you can do 12 magnets, unless you are doing huge magnets you will have some mass leftovers, you can make some beads out of that.

And here it goes, cut the mass depending on how big or small your magnet should look like and get it just a
little bit thiner, I used my hands because I already knew that I was going to cover the surface with patterns, but if you need a clean line use a roller.

I suggest that you first insert the magnet and then do the shap, patterns and such, if you do it later its a big chance that the shape would go all messy. Shape it as you wish, round or triangel in a shape of a star, be creative. Imprint something that you like, maybe a nice quote or a nice pattern. Now comes the water trick, soak your finger tips and just go gently threw any irregularities , do it a few times and they will magically
disappear. If you wish to leave it just with a shape leave it to dry a day or more, its gona have a nice white shaid. Once its dry you can color it with oil colors, nail poslish, tempera, crayons, anything that you think of.

Just that simple.

QUICK MAKE-UP REMOVAL

This post was inspired by my good friend, after buying a "natural" make up remover in a local store. I am not realy sure why people would asume that if the product is marked as "natural" they think that is healthy for them and they do not even take their time to actually read the ingredients. Friend complained that the make-up remover she bought sting her eyes. After giving her a hard time with my teories on natural cosmetic, i also gave her a tip on how she can save money, do her own make-up remover and do something good for her skin.

Making your own make-up remove is extremly easy. All you need is oil! The very first time i did it i useed olive oil and it was ok, did not sting my eyes, it was effective and quickly made. Later on i decided to invest some money and i bought a more quality oil, natural jojoba oil and almond oil, i did that because i did my homework and this are the two oils that will realy do your skin and cells good, by protecting them, nourishing them and keeping them healthy, alive and vivid. Another thing i bought was liquid vitamin E, its especially good for the eye part area.

Be cautious when buying oil, make sure that its realy natural, and believe me when i say this, if you invest in a quality oil it will last you for a year (if its only used for make up remover), but here is another tip, almond oil is also a very good masssage oil, again its good for the skin and it gets into your skin so you wount be all greasy after you finish. Making a massage oil is often not just oil but we can add essential oils to give your skin more benefits.

So all you need is natural oil, a bottel (and vitamin E), use it before bad time and it is gona remove and do you good :)

FRESH MORNING START

Why spend your money on products that have sooo many toxic ingredients. We can make
a lot of products ourself if we just try. This first recipes is a hint from my grandmother, and
it works very well on keeping your skin clean, fresh and healthy, it will also cool your
skin a little bit but it will give you a nice soothing feeling. Your skin will get softer and your mornings a little more healthy.

YOU WILL NEED:
- 1 cucumbre
- 5 mint leavs (you can use natural essential oil)
- 50ml milk

MAKE IT:
Peel the cucumbre and slice it up.
Remove stem from mint and choppe the leaves. When you do that put it in a
blender along with milk. Turn it of when you see a nice texture, put it in a pot
and let it boil, when it does leave it for another 2 min. Leave it to cool, if
you are using mint essential oil you need to ad it when its still hot. Pass
it and pore the tonic into a bottel (or whatever you can
find).

USE IT:
Since te ingredients are more vibrant i use it in the morning, usually i apply it before i start anything else,

Its best to store it in a frige (i had it in a bathroom for about 6 days and it was fine).

The amount that you get out of this recipe is going to last for about 10 days (in a frig).

HOPE YOU FIND THIS USEFULL, feel free to ask questions and comments.

TEA ON A GLOOMY WEATHER

Ironically i always get a day off when the weather isnt quite shiny...i guess thats what they call the law of Murphy. The autmn made sure for a gloomy (slash) rainy weather in our parts, and luckily I have a day off - yeah. Dont get me wrong I am sooo happy to be free today and in a strange way I like a little bit of mellow atmosphere...just a little bit. First things first I went for a very long walk with my dog this morning and i was thinking in therms:"how can i spoil myself today?" So I made a plan, the plan starts with a long bath, books and music. After that I had a ginger tea and was already thinking on green or black tea...yeah I confess I am a tea freak. There was a few times when we would go out drinking with my friends and the first thing I order is tea, pretty weird ha?...Today I realized that as a tea lover i dont really own a nice teapot, i do have my favourite mug but drinking tea is a ritual and i deserve a nice teapot.

As always I first went to Etsy where i was looking for a nice unique teapot...and I found it. Just so you understend why I fell in love with a particular one:"I love music, I love it so much that I had and still have periodes when I will get into a certain artist...for example when I was 16 years old I was obsessed with David Bowie (not for long just for 3 or more months) and amazingly H&M had a T-shirt with him on sale just in that same time SOLD...The same tipe or resurrection i had when I first heard Janise Joplin and Iggy Pop...also had moments when i was getting softer for Princ an Lionel Richi. But lately I am so into upcoming music artists that I have forgotten about the true Legends...And if you are wondering whats she talking about, weathe, tea, music what is going on in here? Here is whats up, on a gloomy wather enjoy yourself and get yourself a nice cup of tea with a teapot that has Lionel Richi on and listen to his song Easy..WHAT?

Well going back to Etsy and the teapot i found; i stumbled upon an artist from Glasgow in Scotland and this girl actually makes amazing teapots with quotes and very nice cartoons of artists...basicly what ever you wish for. Just for the info i havent ordered mine jet because after i found out that you can have a custome one made for you I am having a little jam with who and what i want on my teapot. Curently I am inbetwen Bowie and iggy Azelia. And going back to the ritual part, i was realy surprised when i saw that the teapots were made with a city twist just right for us city people to enjoy our own ritual. Check my favourit tea inspired artist on Etsy under the name owl&brew. Which artist would you most enjoy on your mug or teapot?
